Explainr is a team of producers, writers, filmmakers and animators who partner with associations, brands and nonprofits to create video series that educate, entertain and engage. Our series offer a new way to reach the public, increase media coverage and expand your organization's online video and social media presence.

If you want to teach something, you have to entertain people.
— Bill Nye

Our team has a track record of developing successful online video series. Prior to launching Explainr, our founder created Reactions, a video series from the American Chemical Society that highlights chemistry's role in everyday life. Reactions is one of the most popular video series ever launched by a scientific organization. It's received more than 25 million views on YouTube since launching in early 2014.

Adam Dylewski - Founder/CEO: In addition to founding Explainr, Adam created ACS Productions, the American Chemical Society’s award-winning video and multimedia team. At ACS, Adam oversees production of hundreds of videos every year. He also created four successful online video series for the ACS (including Reactions) that have received more than 30 million views. His videos have been featured in more than 100 media outlets, including NPR, The Today Show, Time, The Washington Post, Yahoo!, PBS and more. He has an MBA from George Mason University, and Bachelors degrees in Genetics and Science Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

When he is not making videos, Adam can be found chasing after his toddler, DJing at his long-running party at DC's Rock & Roll Hotel and watching YouTube. So much YouTube.
